Upcoming Inaugural Flight Virgin America SFO-HNL

Yesterday, I received a call from a Guest Services representative of Virgin America regarding my upcoming reservation. The inaugural flight VX51 on November 2nd, 2015 from SFO (San Francisco, CA) to HNL (Honolulu, HI) is going to be a party! She congratulated me on being able to attend. There will be a lot of festivities including food, cocktails and media w/ cameras. She confirmed upon arrival into HNL that we will be parked in a remote area of the airport for a celebration (similar to the FLL tarmac party I attended). After the celebration, they will provide baggage and shuttle service back to the main terminal. She offered to rebook or cancel at no fees but I’d never change it!

I can’t wait for Virgin America’s inaugural flight to Hawaii! Being a Founding Member it’s been on the future city request list since they started service in 2007. Now 8 years later it is a reality!
