The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort: Overview
The new St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort opened in November 2016 and I was lucky to be able to spend a few nights at the resort in early November just after their 1 year anniversary. The resort is a 45 minute seaplane ride from Male (MLE), but getting to Male will take 18+ hours from JFK or 24+ hours from LAX therefore most American’s don’t have this on their travel list given such long flight times. This resort is worth the flight!
This hotel review is too much to pack into 1 post so I’ve decided to break it out into multiple posts including flights, our room, amenities and food & beverages:
- Etihad A380 LHR-AUH Apartment Class
- Etihad A330-300 AUH-MLE Business Class
- Bentley Transfer & St. Regis Lounge
- Trans Maldivian Airways Seaplane to Resort
- The St. Regis Suite with our butler, Ismail
- Island Amenities, including a private Blue Hole Experience
- Restaurants & In-Room Dining (Food & Beverages)
- Emirates B777-300ER MLE-DXB Economy Class
- Emirates A380 DXB-SFO Economy Class
