ANA First Class: First Square vs. The Suite

On my recent trip to Japan, I had the opportunity to fly First Class with ANA, experiencing both their latest seat, The Suite, and their older First Square seat—each for the third time. The overall experience in both seats—service and food—remains largely the same, with a slight advantage when departing from Japan. However, The Suite stands out with its advanced technology, featuring exterior cameras, a 4K TV, and faster WiFi. Given that The Suite is a 2019 design, these upgrades are expected, especially when compared to First Square, which has been around for 15 years. Take a closer look below with photos from each experience.

Conclusion: While The Suite offers the ultimate First Class experience on ANA, the older First Square still delivers an exceptional way to fly to and from Japan.
