Booking Singapore Airlines Suite Class with Chase Ultimate Reward Points

It’s been on my bucket list of flights to experience and in 2016 I’ll be able to cross it off along with Emirates First Class that I just booked as well. Within the past few years, there has been a ton a press/blog posts around Singapore Suite Class and how you’ll be spoiled forever once you experience it. I’ve built up a ton of Chase Ultimate Reward Points by signing up for multiple credit cards and Singapore Airlines is a transfer partner. You can only book Suite Class award tickets by using Singapore Airlines miles. No partners are able to book it. Earlier this year I tried to find availability for my trip to Japan but there was no availability given I was booking about 45 days prior to departure. Now booking for 2016, I was able to find availability after an hour of searching. The date I found even had 2 seats available which is the most Singapore Airlines ever releases to be booked using miles. Be sure that the flight is operated by an A380 to get a Suite otherwise it’s their normal First Class seat although it’d still be an amazing flight.

For a one-way flight from LAX-NRT-SIN it costs 91,375 miles and $276.34 in taxes. The retail price for this flight in Suite Class is $7,870.84. I transferred 92,000 (1,000 point increments only) Chase Ultimate Reward points around midnight PST and they appeared in my Singapore Airlines account ~20 hours later. Once they posted to my account I booked the flight immediately which required me to complete it using their mobile app. It went flawlessly. After a few minutes I was booked! 🙂

Now this is an inflight bed! I look forward to sleeping at some point during my 21hr journey.
