Credit Card Application Batch – September 2015

This month I decided to apply for 2 more credit cards as I continue to buildup and diversify my point/mile balances. I applied and was approved for the following cards:

Citi AA Executive World Elite Mastercard($450/yr, not waived 1st year):
-75,000 American Airlines miles after $7,500 spend in 90 days
-1st Bag Checked free & Board 1st on AA
-25% off in-flight food and drinks on AA
-Global Entry credit ($100)
-Admirals Club Membership (cardholder + 2 guests while flying any airline)
Top Reason for Applying: To build up AA miles to fly Etihad First Class and Cathay Pacific First Class.

AMEX EveryDay Credit Card ($0/yr):
-25,000 AMEX points after $2,000 spend in 90 days
-2x @ Grocery Stores
Top Reason for Applying: Increase AMEX points balance with a zero annual fee card.

I did find out that AMEX has a limit of 4 credit cards per person so I had to cancel one in order to get the EveryDay card application approved.
