June 2015 Updates

Here are the latest developments in the airline industry…

-Virgin America is refreshing their RED Entertainment system which looks very promising to enhance the already amazing experience they offer. I hope to see it on the new planes being used for their Hawaii routes launching late this year.

-American Airlines is launching service from LAX-SYD which will be the 1st airline on this route to offer inflight WiFi. I’ll be sure to test this out on my next flight to Australia. Flying on their newly redesigned 777 can’t be that bad.

-Qantas has announced they will offer nonstop service to SFO again since stopping service in 2011. It seems the tech bubble is expanding…

-AMEX SPG card will have zero foreign transaction fees starting in August although the annual fee will increase to $95. This is excellent news for using my SPG card internationally. Also, SPG Business card holders will have access to Sheraton Club lounges.
